About Julie Koelzer

Julie is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University (Go Green!), and graduate degree from University of Detroit Mercy. Her nursing experience includes Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation, and Pediatric Critical Care. Julie began her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Emcura Immediate Care in 2021. She is also an adjunct clinical professor in pediatrics at the University of Detroit Mercy. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, and preventative medicine and wellness. Julie is passionate about educating, and empowering patients about their health. She enjoys working with patients to individualize a treatment plan that is best for them. When she is not working, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, going up north, reading, and spending time with her husband, son, and 2 dogs. Her compassion, and commitment to patients are a valuable contribution to Emcura’s team.
